The Hand in Front of Your Face

Twenty-Ten. New approaches to online business, communication, and social networking are surely not going to stop at this latest turn of the calendar page.

Thoughts of what the future can bring to your organization are likely filling your mind, and strategy meetings of these early days of the new decade.  During this time, while you are peering into the cosmos of web 2.0, and all the things that it will mean to your organization, remember to check if you can still see your hand in front of your face.  In terms of using web 2.0 for your endeavors don't let the fog of web 2.0 uncertainty or overwhelm control your decisions.  Know who you are; what you have to say; who you are saying it to; how you want to say it; and, why.  Then decide to take ACTION based on what you know and not on what you fear or don't know.
